How did you end up as a CrossFit coach? What path brought you here?: I started training in "globo" gyms way back in high school and it wasn't getting me much of the results I wanted and became dull, boring and routine. I then went to a friends backyard doing Spartan fitness/Crossfit and overtime became more and more involved with it and the community until eventually over years of learning and training decided I wanted to give back to the same community that I loved and gave me so much. I took it to the next level began getting certified and an opportunity arose to become a coach and I took action and never looked back.

What do you specialize in:
Designing strength and conditioning programs to help people achieve the goals they have set
for themselves. Whether that is being able to walk the beach with your dog, or finishing your
first triathlon, the right program and right focus will get you results. Every person and every
fitness journey is different, I enjoy working with members to collaborate on goals and how to
attain those goals.
What are you passionate about:
I am passionate about positive change. Positive physical changes, positive mental changes and
positive life changes. Small steps can have a huge impact. Every win, every success should be
celebrated. Positivity is contagious.
What do you love most about coaching your members:
I most enjoy the personal interactions. Being with our members in the gym, getting to know
them and helping them transform. Greeting the members as they walk in the door. Brining a
group class through a difficult workout and spending time in 1 on 1 personal training sessions
are all different aspects of the feeling of teaming.
What is your athletic background:
I played youth sports growing up. I grew up surfing and skateboarding. In high school I played
varsity football as a center, and I threw the shot put and hammer in track. At the University of
Vermont I played on the club rugby team.
I have coached baseball, hockey, lacrosse and soccer.
How did you end up as a Crossfit coach? What path led you here:
I started working out at Spartan Fitness over 4 years ago. I immediately fell in love with the
workouts and the people I was surrounded by. I grew to be more competitive in the workouts and began to really focus on the techniques and the movements. I love coaching, so this was a
natural progression and a great fit for me.
